PARTNER ERIC CHAFFIN SPEAKS AT HB LITIGATION TELECONFERENCE

New York, New York – October 28, 2010, Chaffin Luhana announced that Partner Eric Chaffin was a guest speaker at the HB Litigation Judicial Teleconference Series with the Honorable Marina Corodemus entitled “CPSA—Buyer Beware” on October 5, 2010.  Mr. Chaffin spoke about Ponzi Schemes, along with the Honorable John Kroger, Attorney General of Oregon.  Mr. Chaffin and Attorney General Kroger are former colleagues at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.  Attorney General Kroger is also the author of “Convictions: A Prosecutor’s Battles Against Mafia Killers, Drug Kingpins, and Enron Thieves.” With regard to the conference, Mr. Chaffin stated, “Judge Corodemus always draws a crowd with her conferences and I was excited to be speaking along with my former colleague and friend, John Kroger.  John was one of the best federal prosecutors I knew in Brooklyn and he is now one of the best Attorney Generals in the country.  His presence made for an interesting teleconference.”
