Florida Sheriff to Arrest Sellers of Imitation Drugs

Sheriff Grady Judd is planning on arresting retailers caught selling imitation marijuana in Polk County, Florida.

The imitation marijuana is often sold as potpourri or incense, synthetic marijuana is not illegal.  However Sheriff Judd says that he will charge retailers with selling an imitation controlled substance.

That charge is considered a third-degree felony.  Users of the imitation drug say that it creates a feeling similar to marijuana and is often referred to as Spice or K2.
