Texting Ban Rejected by City Council

The Parkersburg, West Virginia City Council voted against a proposal that would have banned texting and driving. 

City Council members were unsure how the city could enforce such a ban.  While similar bans have been passed in other cities, Parkersburg residents can feel safe knowing that new drivers cannot legally use cell phones while driving due to state law.
