No Tsunami Feared In Alaskan Earthquake
Late Wednesday night Alaska was shaken by an earthquake. Though the epicenter of the quake occurred 40 miles off the coast and at a depth of more than 30 miles, the tremors were felt in Anchorage.
The West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center said that it did not fear a tsunami was generated by the quake and that residents should not be worried.
