University of Oregon Braces for Busy Weekend

The University of Oregon has beefed up security for the upcoming weekend. Officials are expecting an influx in drinking and partying as the #1 Oregon Ducks play at Southern Cal on Saturday and Halloween celebrations take place throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Thirty-six patrol officers have been commissioned to keep the campus and the surrounding communities safe.  The University is taking precautions to avoid riotous behavior similar to that seen on September 24 of this year when nearly 400 people tore through a local neighborhood.
