Carmelo: "I Feel It's a Time for Change"
Denver Nuggets Star Looking for a Change
"It ain't got nothing to do with the new GM [Masai Ujiri], Josh [Kroenke, team president], the players." explained the 3-time All-Star. "For me, I feel it's a time for change.
"If I do nothing now, I'm never going to do anything. I feel like my time is now to make a decision if I want to leave or if I want to stay."
The Nuggets offered Melo a $65 million contract extension months ago, but Anthony has not reached a decision yet about where he wants to play and what he wants to do. One things seems at least somewhat certain now though: Melo does not see Denver as part of his NBA future.
