Miami Heat Courtside Seats Sell for $25,000+

No one will be surprised to learn that the ticket prices for Miami Heat home games are higher than ever before, but can you believe that a pair of courtside seats for the Miami Heat's debut home game sold for over $25,000?

A representative for Stubhub.com has confirmed that the ticket company sold a pair of tickets for Friday night's Heat game against the Orlando Magic for over $12,942 each! The identity of the buyer was not revealed, but, as a TMZ.com report puts it, "we're guessing it wasn't a Cavs fan."

Stubhub representative Glenn Lehrman told TMZ that, last season, the most that anyone paid for a courtside seat at a Heat home game was $2,250 (when Miami played the Lakers).

The average price for any seat at Miami's highly anticipated debut home game is $325, which completely dwarfs the average ticket price of $50 for last year's Heat debut game.
