Environmental Protection Agency Tests Former Railroad Line in Missouri
Tests show elevated levels of arsenic
A former railroad line in Cameron, Missouri has tested positive for high levels of arsenic according to the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA took 115 soil samples, of which 44 showed high levels of arsenic. The tests were completed in August near a soccer complex.
The EPA does not plan to clean up the area because there is little chance of environmental impact. The soil does not currently pose a threat to the well being of the community.
