The Chicago Bulls shut down the Detroit Pistons holding Detroit to only 9 points on the fourth quarter.

The Bulls were led by point guard DerricK Rose with 39 points in the Bulls second game of the 2010-2011 NBA season leading them to victory over the Detroit Pistons.

The Bulls received a tremendous hand from their center Joakim Noah who pulled down 17 rebounds. Noah had 8 offensive rebounds to go along with 9 defensive. The Bulls controlled the boards out rebounding the Pistons 51 to 44.

Tom Thibodeau the Bulls new head coach got his first NBA victory. Tom Thibodeau known for his defensive coaching schemes had his Bulls running on all cylinders against the Pistons holding them to 91 points.

Detroit was led by one time Chicago Bull Ben Gordon with 21 points.

The Pistons fell to 0-3 on the year while Chicago evened their wins and losses at 1 and 1.
