Sarah Palin to be Interviewed by CBS Anchor Katie Couric

Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be interviewed by CBS anchor Katie Couric with the material to be aired Sept. 29 and 30 on the “CBS Evening News” and “The Early Show.”

The interview will draw from Couric’s planned two-day trip with Palin and Republican presidential candidate John McCain as they campaign ahead of the Nov. 4 election.

Palin will be taking part in a vice presidential debate with Democratic vice-presidential candidate Joe Biden on Oct. 2.
