Cleveland, Ohio Begins Tests on Green Energy

Monitoring stations have been erected to understand conditions

Two monitoring towers have been erected in Cleveland, Ohio.  The towers are a preliminary step towards building wind turbines that generate energy.  The 200-foot towers will stand and take measurements for about a year.

The city hopes to two turbines at a water treatment plant will reduce the cost of providing power for the plant.  They are also hoping to erect a third turbine linked to a Jergens factory.  The Jergens factory produces industrial components.
