Deer Season to Open in Minnesota

The Department of Natural Resources is making sure that Minnesota hunters are ready for the upcoming deer season.  Hunters can take part in the first firearm hunt of the season Saturday.  The state is hoping that many hunters make sure they are ready for deer season by getting their licenses beforehand and beating the rush. 

DNR officials say that Minnesota has roughly 500,000 deer hunters
