JUDGE ALTONAGA APPOINTS PARTNER ERIC CHAFFIN AS CO-LEAD COUNSEL OF THE FEDERAL DENTURE CREAM LITIGATION

Chaffin Luhana LLP announced that Judge Altonaga of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida has appointed Partner Eric Chaffin as Co-Lead Counsel for the plaintiffs of the In re: Denture Cream Products Liability Litigation, Case Number 1:09-md-02051-CMA (the “Denture Cream MDL”).  The litigation centers on claims that GlaxoSmithKline (“GSK”) and The Procter & Gamble Company (“P&G”) added zinc to their denture creams, Super Poligrip and Fixodent, in the 1990s that has been poisoning consumers, resulting in zinc overload, copper deficiency and debilitating myelopathy.
