PARTNER ERIC CHAFFIN SPEAKS AT ACI’S NATIONAL ADVANCED FORUM ON MANAGING AND RESOLVING MASS TORT PRODUCTS LIABILITY CLAIMS

New York, New York – November 2, 2010 – Chaffin Luhana announced that Partner Eric Chaffin was a guest speaker at the American Conference Institute’s (ACI’s) National Advanced Forum on “Managing and Resolving Mass Tort Products Liability Claims: Devising Novel End-Game Strategies in Bet-the-Company Litigation.” The forum took place from September 29-30, 2010 at the Helmsley Park Lane Hotel in New York City.

The two-day event discussed the many facets and challenges involved in the evolving world of mass torts and hosted speeches from a diverse faculty of experts, in addition to panel discussions. Among the distinguished speakers were many federal and state court judges from across the country who provided insights as to how cases within the products liability field are interpreted and heard within the court. Additionally, in-house counsel from various Fortune 500 and pharmaceutical companies attended and spoke as well. Mr. Chaffin presented “A View from the Plaintiff’s Bar,” addressing current aspects and challenges of plaintiff litigation.
