Andy Irons died this morning at a hotel in Dallas. The surfing legend stopped over in Dallas after falling ill due to reports.

Irons was heading back to his home in Hawaii but after feeling ill booked a room in Dallas. The surfer was found at 10 a.m. by a hotel employee according to reports.

Andy Irons was a three time surfing world champion.
