Kevin Garnett Allegedly Calls NBA Player a "Cancer Patient"

According to a tweet posted by Charlie Villanueva of the Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett called Villanueva a "cancer patient" during the Pistons' regular season game against the Celtics on Tuesday. Villanueva, 26-year-old Pistons power forward, suffers from a condition called alopecia universalis, which causes hair loss. Currently, Villanueva has no hair on his head.

"KG called me a cancer patient, I'm pissed because, u know how many people died from cancer, and he's tossing it like it's a joke," said one tweet by Villanueva.

"I wouldn't even trip about that, but a cancer patient, I know way 2 many people who passed away from it, and I have a special place 4 those," said another tweet.

Another tweet suggests that Villanueva would perhaps like for Garnett to back up his on-court trash talking off the court. "KG talks alot of crap, he's prob never been in a fight, I would love to get in a ring with him, I will expose him," reads the tweet.

Villanueva and Garnett were involved in some kind of a dispute in Tuesday's game after Villanueva was fouled by the future Hall of Famer late in the fourth quarter. The two exchanged some words before a double technical foul was called.

The Pistons have confirmed that the tweets were made by Villanueva, but it has not confirmed whether or not Garnett actually made the alleged comments.
