In Midst of Political Celebration, Tolerance is Built with Small Stones

17 Year Old PostcardMania Employee Creates Stop-Motion Film “Coexist”

Out of the political fever that broke last night across the nation comes a story of symbolism resounding with a bi-partisan message.

Adopting the theme of “coexist”, which can be seen on bumper stickers across the nation, 17-year-old James Rockwell, son of Founder and CEO of PostcardMania Joy Gendusa, directed a stop-motion film using only his iPhone camera emphasizing the need for tolerance in the world and the capacity to work together to solve problems.

Using small stones, in just one minute and twenty eight seconds,  Rockwell crafts a compelling and visually stunning storyline stressing the importance of acceptance and understanding. It’s a fascinating insight into the mind of America’s upcoming generation and one that shouldn’t be so quickly ignored by those candidates wishing to gain the votes of the next generation.
