Plane Crashes in Cuba, All Passengers Killed

A plane crash in Cuba Thursday afternoon left all 68 people onboard dead. Aerocaribbean Flight 883 was traveling from the province of Santiago de Cuba to the capital of Havana when it lost contact with air traffic control. The plane crashed in the province of Sancti Spiritus near the Zaza Reservoir.

Witnesses say the plane made several jerky movements before it hit the ground and burst in to flames. The cause of the crash remains unclear. The victims included 40 Cubans and 28 foreigners.
