NASA was forced to cancel Friday’s liftoff of Space Shuttle Discovery after hydrogen began leaking from the shuttle. Friday’s launch cancellation was the fourth this week.
The Discovery was originally set to launch on Monday, but helium and nitrogen leaks pushed the liftoff to Tuesday. On Tuesday, electrical issues were discovered and the launch was rescheduled for Thursday. Bad weather on Thursday caused liftoff to be rescheduled for Friday. NASA has not scheduled the next launch.
This will be the Discovery’s 39th and final voyage to the International Space Station.
