Financial Stocks To Watch (JPM, HIG, MS, AIG)

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) went up 3.07% to $41.02 on strong volumes. So far in the last one year of trading sessions, the stock dropped over 1%. The stock has a 52-week range of $35.16-$48.20. 

The median Wall Street price target on the stock is $52 and the high target is set at $60 with majority of analysts have a Buy rating on the company`s stock. The stock has the 50- Day Moving Average and 200-Day Moving Average prices of $38.85 and $39.31 respectively.

Hartford Financial Services (NYSE:HIG) jumped 1.60% to $26.67. This week, the company said that profit during the quarter was stood at $666 million, or $1.34 a share, reversing a year ago loss of $220 million, or 79 cents a share.

On an adjusted basis, the company earned $1.43 a share, way ahead of analysts target of 97 cents a share.

For the full year, the firm now expects core earnings of $2.60 to $2.70 per share. The Hartford said in August it expected adjusted earnings per share of $2.10 to $2.30 for the year.

Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) went up 2.92% to $27.14. The stock opened trade at $26.47. So far this year, the stock slumped more than 7%. In the past one month of trading sessions, the stock went up more than 6%.

The stock has the 50- Day Moving Average and 200-Day Moving Average prices of $25.25 and $26.24 respectively.

American International Group, Inc. (NYSE:AIG) slid 0.18% to $44.66. The company said on Friday that it posted a third-quarter net loss of $2.4 billion, or $17.62 a share, after taking several large charges totaling $4.5 billion related to a major restructuring.

A year ago, the company earned $455 million or 68 cents a share in the third quarter. On an adjusted basis, the net loss for the latest third quarter was $200 million, $1.47 a share.
