American Greetings Corporation (NYSE:AM) will hold a conference call on Friday, September 26 at 9:00 am ET to discuss the second quarter earnings for 2009.  A webcast of the call will be available at investors.americangreetings.com.

American Greetings Corporation operates predominantly in a single industry: the design, manufacture and sale of everyday and seasonal greeting cards and other social expression products. Greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, stationery and giftware are manufactured or sold by the Company in North America, including the United States, Canada and Mexico, and throughout the world, primarily in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

In addition, a subsidiary, AG Interactive, Inc., distributes social expression products, including electronic greetings, personalized printable greeting cards and a range of graphics and digital services and products, through a variety of electronic channels, including Websites, Internet portals, instant messaging services and electronic mobile devices.
