Another Qantas flight was forced to return to the Changi Airport in Singapore after experiencing engine trouble shortly after takeoff. A Qantas spokesperson confirms a Boeing 747 carrying 412 passengers and 19 crew members when the engine trouble began Friday. The flight was headed to Sydney, Australia. No other details on the incident were available.
The incident came just a day after a Qantas Airbus A380 made an emergency landing after one of the engines shut down and the engine cover fell off the plane. Qantas, the national airline of Australia, grounded the rest of their Airbus A380 fleet after the incident.
