Woman Kidnapped in Atlanta Found in Florida Hospital

A woman who was kidnapped by her boyfriend outside an Atlanta shopping center has been found in a Florida hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

According to police Lisa Ambrose, 41, was confronted by her boyfriend, Anthony Robbins, 39, on Wednesday in a parking lot where he stabbed her and forced her into his vehicle. A retired police officer on the scene witnessed the attack and tried to stop Robbins from fleeing, shooting at the car but the suspect managed to escape.

After crossing the Georgia-Florida border Robbins stopped at a hospital where Ambrose was admitted. Jackson County, FL police then arrested Robbins.

Robbins is currently in a hospital as well after suffering a gunshot wound but police have not said how or when he was shot.
