Daughter of NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg Fractures Spine in Fall

The daughter of NYC mayor Mike Bloomberg was seriously injured Friday at the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament. Georgina Bloomberg suffered a fractured spine when her saddle slipped and she fell from her horse, Radio City.

Kenneth Kraus, a rep for the tournament, said 27-year-old Georgina was also knocked unconscious. “The complete medical report…will become more clear following an in-depth examination on Monday,” Kraus added.

A spokesman for Mayor Bloomberg said he is “very concerned, as any father would be." No other details on Georgina's condition were released.
