Imagine going door-to-door, peeking in meticulously decorated holiday homes, and collecting cookies along the way, that’s exactly what the White Mountain Inn to Inn Cookie Tour is like. Now in its 14th year, this inn-to-inn cookie trek grows in popularity, and with good reason. The candies and cookies are homemade, secret recipes divulged, and gingerbread sculptures are featured throughout—proceeds of which sweetly benefit area nonprofits.
At least a dozen inns are participating in this year’s treat trek. Each inn is within 15-minutes from the next, with some even closer. Visitors who stop at all inns receive a beautiful brass keepsake ornament, intended to be another in a series of collectible ornaments to be distributed for years to come. Local businesses will sponsor the gingerbread sculptures created by local artists, school groups, chefs or bakers to be displayed at participating inns as part of a gingerbread contest. Vote for your favorite sculpture and help that group win a donation for a designated non-profit. Visitors may also enter a separate contest to win a gift certificate for themselves at the participating inn of choice.WHAT: 14th Annual White Mountain Inn to Inn Cookie Tour
