In his first collegiate start the highly-touted freshman quarterback Terrell Pryor threw 139 yards and four touchdowns while Daniel Herron picked up 93 yards on the ground as the #13 Ohio State Buckeyes (3-1) bounced back against their devastating loss to the USC Trojans last week to beat the Troy Trojans (2-1) 28-10 on Saturday.
Pryor threw a pair of TDs in the first half, a 13-yard strike to Rory Nicol and a 39-yard pass to Brian Hartline but the Buckeyes only led 14-10 at the break.
The score would remain 14-10 until the fourth quarter but Pryor once gain used his arm to give OSU some breathing room as he hit Brian Robiskie on a 39-yard toss and with just under five minutes left in the game Pryor sealed it when he hit Hartline for the second time on a 16-yard TD.
Troy actually collected more total yards in the game, outgaining OSU 315-309 but the Trojans turned the ball over twice.
Ohio State will open Big Ten conference play next week with Minnesota while Troy is due to face Oklahoma State.
