Revenue rose 10 percent to $3.21 billion, compared with analysts'
expectations of $3.15 billion.

Avis
Budget Group Inc. (NYSE:CAR) went up 2.89% and closed at $13.87.
Last week, the company posted a higher third-quarter profit as a recovering
economy boosted travel demand, and said it expects volume increases to continue
through the rest of the year.
For the third quarter, Avis' net income rose to $90 million, or 73
cents a share, from $57 million, or 54 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose
3 percent to $1.51 billion.
Analysts on average had expected earnings of 76 cents a share, on
revenue of $1.51 billion, according to Thomson Reuters.
The stock went up more than 5% year-to-date.
