Paul Pierce Mocks LeBron in Tweet

Pierce's Post-Game Tweet Imitates King James

After the Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat for the second straight time this season, Celtics forward Paul Pierce posted a message on his Twitter account that seems to mock LeBron James, whose Heat team lost 107-112 to the Celtics on Thursday night.

The tweet reads, "It's been a pleasure to bring my talents to south beach now on to Memphis." The message, for anyone who watched the now infamous ESPN special called "The Decision," should sound familiar. It is an obvious imitation of James' announcement that he would be "taking my talents to South Beach."

Furthermore, according to a report from ESPN.com, Celtics forward Glen Davis was heard talking about "spanking" the Heat after the game.

So is there bad blood between the Celtics and Heat? Reggie Miller seems to think there is. During TNT's broadcast of Thursday night's game, he commented that Paul Pierce's expression during a free throw suggested that he feels disgusted by the Heat team. Miller also said that the body language of both teams suggested some kind of a tension or hostility.

Then again, all these looks and tweets and body language signs might just be part of the competitive spirit for these two teams.
