Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is recovering from a right foot injury and was listed as probable on the team’s injury report Friday. It is believed that Brady’s injury is a foot sprain.
The injury kept him out of practice Wednesday, and limited his role on Thursday and Friday. In addition, backup Brian Hoyer played a larger role in the practice throughout the week, taking more snaps than usual.
Still, Brady is expected to start Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The quarterback claims he’s “ready to play,” even though he seemed to be experiencing some discomfort Friday afternoon.
The other questionable Patriots players include veteran running back Fred Taylor (toe), safety Patrick Chung (knee), and guard Stephen Neal (shoulder).
