Jessica Simpson Gets Engaged to NFL Star
A representative for the couple told People Magazine, "Yes, we are excited to confirm that they are engaged!"
The star couple began dating earlier this year in May, after being introduced by friends. Simpson told People Magazine how well the relationship was working last month.
"This is just normal, thank God. He's very, very supportive. [I] couldn't ask for a better man in my life right now," said Simpson.
Simpson's brother-in-law Pete Wentz told People Magazine about Johnson, "He's a really smart guy, and Jessica really loves him. I think that's the most important thing, seeing her happy,"
Eric Johnson is a professional tight end who has played for both the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints. He is currently a free agent in the NFL.
Jessica Simpson is an accomplished singer, actress, and fashion designer. She rose to fame during the late 1990's and has since continued to reinvent herself as an entertainment icon.
