A 24 year old Long Island mother of four was convicted on Monday of hatching a plot to kill her estranged husband. Jurors wasted little time convicting her, after watching her make a $500 down payment on with a "hit man" - an undercover cop - on surveillance video.
"I want him out of my life. I want him to disappear, Susan Williams, declared on the tape after negotiating to have her husband rubbed out for $20,000. "If it's an accident and he's dead, I'm great. ... I would love to just do this and get it done.
"If you're taping me - I'm fucked, that's the case," she then says prophetically.
Prosecutors said Williams was in the midst of a bitter divorce when the death plot was hatched and wanted her husband, Peter, 46, dead so she could collect on his $1 million insurance policy.
After turning over the cash, she makes her intentions clear one last time by stating: "He's not going to be living anymore; he's going to be dead."
