Massage Envy Offers Five Tips to Cut Holiday Stress-- And A Free Massage With Purchase of Gift Cards at Any of the 27 DFW Massage Envy Centers

The joy of the holidays – parties, gift-giving, family get-togethers—can also be stressful. And stress can weaken your immune system, cause headaches, sleep loss, irritability and indigestion.

To celebrate, not just survive, the holidays, here are some stress-relieving tips from Massage Envy, the nation’s leading provider of massage therapy:

Be realistic. One way to lower stress is to lower your expectations. Plan your activities—including shopping, baking and partying—on a master calendar. Stick to your schedule and feel free to say no to things that aren’t on it.

Take “me” time. Build in a healthy slice of time to do something just for yourself, whether it’s reading a great novel or getting a massage.
