New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush is set to make his return this weekend, according to an ESPN report.
Bush suffered a broken calf bone in Week 2 against the 49ers and has been sidelined since. It was reported earlier this month that Bush would likely return in Week 11 against the Seahawks, and league sources say he’s on track to do just that.
The running back recently returned to practice, where he has made great strides in his recovery. It was even believed that he might return 2 weeks early to play against Carolina on November 7th. However, the Saints decided to wait, give him the extra recovery time on their bye week, and have him ready to go against Seattle.
Before his injury, Bush had 63 receiving yards, 18 rushing yards, and one touchdown. The Saints (6-3) are anxiously awaiting his return as they have also been without other starting back, Pierre Thomas, since Week 3.
