Katie Price is taking a break from her gruelling in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatments.

The former glamour model - who has sons Harvey, eight, Junior, five, and daughter Princess, three, from previous relationships - and her cage-fighter husband Alex Reid are desperate for a child of their own but are shelving their dream for a while after two failed attempts at the process.

She said: "I've tried it twice, it didn't work but now I'm going to let my body have a rest.

"It's quite a struggle and everything on your body. You have to go through quite a lot."

Now Katie – who has admitted she found undergoing the treatment difficult because of the side-effects of the hormone injections –has decided to have more muscle-freezing botox treatments to cheer herself up.

She told Sky News presenter Eamonn Holmes yesterday (17.11.10): "I'm going to have botox today, because it has all come out, I'm going to have it today.

"I don't like expression!"

While Katie, 32, has decided to stop having IVF treatment at the moment, she has previously said she won’t give up hope and thinks she will become pregnant when the time is right.

She said: "Just because I've got kids, it doesn't me I can fall pregnant with someone else and it is quite a traumatic thing, because to do IVF again you have to wait a couple of months for your body to recover from the last attempt.

"It will happen when it's supposed to happen."
