“?uestlove” from The Roots and DFEST Owner, Angie Devore the Special Guests on New Episode of All Access

Los Angeles - On this week’s episode of maniaTV’s hit music show, All Access, host Samantha Maloney heads to DFEST in Tulsa Oklahoma to talk drums, sneakers, and music with Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson from the influential hip hop band, The Roots. An exceptionally gifted drummer, ?uestlove is an integral part of The Roots success as a hip hop band, renowned for his technical drumming ability, and timing and additions on common drum patterns. ?uestlove is a producer for artists such as Common, D'Angelo, and Al Green, and is a member of the production teams the Soulquarians, the Grand Negaz, and the Grand Wizzards. He has made numerous cameos on the Dave Chappelle Show, and has contributed as a drummer for artists like Erykah Badu, Dilated Peoples, Blackalicious,Jay-Z, N*E*R*D, Fiona Apple, Christina Aguilera, and Joss Stone. In April of 2006, ?uestlove also received an “Esky” for “Best Scribe” in Esquire magazine's 2006 “Esky Music Awards”.

After her time with ?uestlove, Samantha heads to the famous Tulsa-based furniture store, Dwelling Spaces, to sit down with DFEST Owner, Angie Devore. Samantha gets a firsthand description from Angie about the creation of DFEST and what can be expected of it for the future.

Samantha Maloney, most widely known as one of the sexiest drummers in Rock, is the host of maniaTV's flagship music show, All Access, a show which takes the viewer deep inside the world of major artists and showcases the best in new music.
