West Virginia Man Charged with Assault after Farting on Officer

A West Virginia man who was already being arrested for driving under the influence will also be facing an assault charge after he reportedly farted on a police officer while he was being fingerprinted.

Jose Cruz was hauled down to the police station in South Charleston on Monday night after he failed a series of sobriety tests.

While Cruz was being fingerprinted he intentionally moved closer to one of the officers and passed gas. Cruz was then charged with battery on an officer to go along with his DUI and obstruction charges he was already facing.
