SEC College Football Schedule for Week 5

College football in the SEC begins Saturday as conference play gets kicked into high gear for the 2008 season.

The SEC sports six teams in the AP Top 25 rankings, five of which are in the top 10. A battle between two of these top 10 teams will be on Saturday as the #3 Georgia Bulldogs takes on #8 Alabama Crimson Tide.

Knowshon Moreno and Matthew Stafford will look to lead UGA in a win against their border rivals Alabama. Georgia has won the last five meetings between the two when both are ranked.

As for the other top five teams, #3 Florida Gators and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow will take on Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon, while #5 LSU Tigers, the reigning national champions, will take on Mississippi State.

#15 Auburn Tigers look to bounce back from a 27-21 loss to LSU as they face the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday afternoon.

#21 Vanderbilt Commodores, the remaining top 25 team in the SEC, is the only team in the conference to have a bye this week.
