JayiBee Develops New Music Genre Called Southern R&B

Singer, songwriter Jay-i-Bee mixes southern rock, soul and gospel to create southern R&B.

Jay-i-Bee of Tuscaloosa, Alabama has spent the past fifteen years writing music, but the past two years he has been focusing his energy on the creation of his own musical genre, southern R&B.  Influenced by Marvin Gaye, David Ruffin and Elvis Presley, Jay-i-Bee writes mostly about love and pleasant memories.  He is not a fan of negativity and tries to keep himself and his music positive.

Hear Jay-i-Bee talk about southern R&B, his music and his upcoming tour in the Jay-i-Bee interview with Rebecca Firth on YourFindit at www.yourfindit.com/jayibee.

Jay-i-Bee is currently promoting his latest album King James.  The album features fourteen tracks of slow to medium tempo love songs.  In his YourFindit interview Jay-i-Bee expressed that he liked to keep his music positive, staying away from a “negative vibe.”  The singer, songwriter says that he has always written positive music and will continue to do so.  Even after the loss of his wife, leaving him to play the roles of both father and mother for their son, Jay-i-Bee was able to move on optimistically looking forward to the future.  The good memories and strong emotions related to his wife are what inspired Jay-i-Bee songs such as “You’re My Girl” and “Your Love.”

Jay-i-Bee has plans to begin recording his next album within a month, using his upcoming tour in February to test his new material.  He plans on visiting the south east circuit and hopes he can stretch as far as the northern states.
