Big Ten College Football Schedule for Week 5

College football in the Big Ten begins Saturday as the 2008 season gets kicked into high gear despite no conference games this week.

The Big Ten sports four teams in the AP Top 25 rankings, three of which are in the top 15. #12 Penn State Nittany Lions will take on the #22 Illinois Fighting Illini.

#14 Ohio State Buckeyes will take on Minnesota Golden Gophers as Chris “Beanie” Wells is listed probable for the game. It will be Wells’ first game since his injury in the Buckeyes’ game against Youngstown State. Freshman sensation Terrelle Pryor will have his first college start against Minnesota as well.

#9 Wisconsin Badgers will take on Michigan Wolverines on Saturday at 3:30pm on ABC, while Javon Ringer will lead the Michigan State Spartans against Indiana Hoosiers at noon on ESPN.
