Miami Heat Injury Troubles
Wade and Haslem Injured
Wade, the Heat's leading scorer, may sit out during Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers. The swelling on his wrist has gone down, according to Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, but his status remains questionable for now. Haslem, Miami's leading rebounder, might be out for several months due to his injury, which may require surgery.
"We feel we have enough," Spoelstra said on Monday. "I just know we have to stick to our process. We have five losses right now, and I know we have specific things we can point to."
NBA veterans Juwan Howard and Jerry Stackhouse will likely replace Haslem and Wade, respectively, while they are out.
