Sheryl Crow is selling her Tennessee home in an online auction.
The ‘A Change Would Do You Good’ singer has put her
Cross Creek Farm estate – which has 17 rooms over 10,000 square feet
set across 150 acres of land - up for sale on the internet, with
bidding currently standing at $1,125,000.
The property includes a gated entry with security system, a six-car
garage, nanny quarters and a three-bedroom, two-bath guest house.
The dwelling also boasts a 14-stall barn, an indoor riding arena, a
salt water pool and a theatre and utilises solar panelling to reduce
energy costs.
The website listing to describe the property says: “Cross Creek Farm is
a fully functional ‘Solar Farm’ generating over 40 per cent reduction
in electric costs.
“Magnificent countryside, modern 14 stall barn, large pond, and exquisite architecture distinguish this picturesque setting.”
The 48-year-old singer – who has adopted sons Wyatt, three, and
seven-month-old Levi – bought the estate in 2006, two years after she
started renting the property.
Sheryl reportedly listed the property for $7.5million in May, but couldn’t find a buyer.
According to the auction terms, the highest bidder must pay cash and
the deal has to be closed no later than January 14 next year.
Bidding will end on the estate at 6pm CST tonight (23.11.10).
