AP Top 25 College Football Scores: Terrelle Pryor, Beanie Wells Lead #14 Ohio State Past Minnesota Gophers

Terrell Pryor threw for 67 yards and a touchdown and added 97 yards rushing and a pair of TDs while Beanie Wells returned to action and collected 101 yards on 14 carries as the #14 Ohio State Buckeyes (4-1) bounced back from their loss to USC last week and handed the Minnesota Gophers (4-1) their first loss of the year 34-21.

Pryor put the Buckeyes in front 7-0 in the first quarter with a 33-yard touchdown run on the opening drive of the game. The Gophers managed to get a field goal from Joel Monroe to cut the Minnesota deficit to 7-3 but Ryan Pretorius booted a pair of field goals in the second quarter and Pryor found Brian Robiskie on an 8-yard touchdown toss with 33 seconds left in the half to give OSU a 20-3 advantage at the break.

Minnesota had to settle for a second field goal from Monroe on their first drive of the second half and Ohio State answered once again with Pryor as the freshman quarterback found the endzone on a one-yard plunge.

Ohio State increased their lead to 34-6 early in the fourth quarter when Todd Boeckman got in on the action with a 31 yard touchdown pass to Robiskie. Minnesota scored a pair of touchdowns midway through the fourth quarter but never threatened the Buckeyes.

Ohio State will travel to #9 Wisconsin next week while Minnesota hosts Indiana.
