Kerry Collins threw for 199 yards, Chris Johnson rushed for 61 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and the Tennessee Titans (4-0) defense forced four turnovers to beat the Minnesota Vikings (1-3) 30-17 on Sunday.
Tennessee held a 10-0 lead after the first quarter on a Rob Bironas field goal and a Chris Johnson one-yard touchdown run but Adrian Peterson brought the Vikings back into the game with a 28-yard TD run in the second quarter. Bironas kicked his second field goal of the game and after Lendale White scored from a yard out the Titans were in front 20-7.
Peterson scored his second touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter, a 3-yarder that brought the Vikings to within 23-17 with six minutes left in the game but Johnson answered with his second rushing touchdown of the game, a 6-yard burst that sealed the win for Tennessee.
