NFL Scores Week 4: Clinton Portis and Jason Williams Push Washington Redskins to Road Win Over Dallas Cowboys

Clinton Portis rushed for 121 yards, Jason Campbell threw for 231 yards and two touchdowns and Santana Moss had 145 yards receiving on eight catches as the Washington Redskins (3-1) went on the road and upset the Dallas Cowboys (3-1) 26-24 on Sunday.

It was Dallas who struck first as Tony Romo hit Jason Witten on a 21-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter but Jason Campbell answered for the Redskins in the second when he found James Thrash on a 3-yard toss to tie the score. Campbell then gave the Redskins a 14-7 lead after hitting Antwaan Randle El on a 2-yard pass. Both teams would trade field goals before the end of the half and the Skins carried a 17-10 lead into the break.

Early in the third quarter Romo brought the Cowboys even when he found Terrell Owens on a 10-yard pass but the Redskins responded with a long drive and kicked a field goal for a 20-17 lead heading into the fourth.

Washington put another field goal on the board early in the fourth and after Romo was picked off Washington chewed up nearly seven minutes and Shaun Suisham kicked his fourth field goal of the game to give the Redskins a 26-17 lead with 3:26 left on the clock.

Dallas managed to move down the field and Romo found Miles Austin on an 11-yard touchdown pass with 1:48 left but without any timeouts remaining the Cowboys were forced to go for an onside kick and the ball went out of bounds and Washington ran the clock out.
