"the best sony ericsson smartphone" on June 30, 2010 by berniemac65 (1 review)
Pros: BEAUTIFUL DESIGN AND QUALITY. NON GENERIC LIKE OTHER BRANDS FROM THE RISING SUN.
GREAT CAMERA, GOOD FLASH, LENS HOOD , GOOD PHONE SIGNAL, ITUNES COMP WITH SONY SOFTWARE.
Cons: LACK OF USB AND MINI PLUG CONNECTORS, NON SCRATCH RESISTANT SCREEN (A MUST BE TODAY) ,NON ACCURATE TOUCH SCREEN ( IPHONE 4 GOLD STANDARD) , SYMBIAN WAS THE BEST OS, WAS, NOTHING TO DO WITH IPHONE OS OR ANDROID.
Summary: THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES EVER. BEAUTIFUL DESIGN , NON GENERIC SHAPE, SHINING DETAILS. REALLY A BEAUTY. AND IT'S AN EXCELLENT PHONE ( I MEAN CALLING).
THE CAMERA IS GORGEOUS FOR A CELL PHONE (MY REFERENCE IS AN HIGH LEVEL CANON SLR BUT GUYS THESE ARE CELL PHONES) WITH A LOT OF FEATURES AND GOOD QUALITY IN THIS CATEGORY. THE FLASH IS WEAK FOR THE CAMERA LEVEL.
ON THE OTHER HAND, THE WEAKNESS IS THE OS , PLEASE YOU CAN FIX THAT. AND THE POOR QUALITY OF THE APPS IN NUMBER AND QUALITY ITSELF.
ANOTHER DRAWBACK IS OVISTORE : DON'T WORK WITH THIS PHONE !!!! SOURCE: http://reviews.cnet.com/smartphones/sony-ericsson-satio-idou/4505-6452_7-33527291.html#ixzz16EmKyvrV
"Preteens should generally be under adult supervision, so the safety value of a cellphone is small, she feels. “And my experience is that a lot of kids this age lose their cellphones. So you have to consider what level of responsibility your child needs to demonstrate before getting a cellphone. For example, if half of her winter wardrobe is in the school lost and found, she is probably not ready for one."
