Man Dies after Eating Super-Hot Chili Sauce

A 33-year-old man from Edlington, England died from an apparent heart-attack after he challenged his girlfriend’s brother to an eating contest involving a super-hot chili sauce.

Andrew Lee, an aspiring chef, created the sauce with home-grown red chilies but after eating the batch he began to experience intestinal pain and by the next morning he was dead.

According to Lee’s sister Andrew took a batch of the chili sauce over to his girlfriend’s house where he challenged her brother to the competition. Lee had recently passed a medical exam and was said to be in good shape.

Results of a toxicology test are pending.
