The 50-year-old actress – who was crowned winner of the TV show on Tuesday night (23.11.10) – confessed she had no idea her spouse Greg Clarke was so handy in the kitchen until she immersed herself into the show's demanding training schedule with professional partner Derek Hough.
Jennifer – who shot to fame starring alongside Patrick Swayze in cult classic 'Dirty Dancing' – also praised her eight-year-old daughter Stella for becoming "more self-sufficient".
She said: "I've done nothing but sleep and take care of my injuries. They have been so amazing. My husband has been taking care of everything and my daughter has become so much more self-sufficient. It's been great for everyone. I found out my husband can cook!"
The star – who has battled cancer in the past – admitted she feels "blessed" to have been given the opportunity to participate in the show.
Jennifer explained: "I didn't even think about winning when I first started. This is so unbelievable. I feel so grateful, so blessed, that I had this opportunity to spend three months learning to dance and getting paid for it.
"I don't know that there's any experience that will ever be anything like this again."
