Police Find Remains of Two Children in Freezer of Maryland Home

Police investigating reports of child abuse searched a home in Calvert County, Maryland and discovered the bodies of two children stored in a freezer.

A woman living at the house described the two children as her adopted daughters and admitted they had been frozen since February. The police had been called to the house to investigate claims of abuse against a third child, a seven-year-old girl, when they found the other two packed in a freezer.

The age and identity of the two children has not been released. Police have charged the 43-year-old woman with first degree child abuse with more charges sure to come.
