Second Drug Tunnel From Mexico to California Discovered

United States authorities have discovered a second drug tunnel from Mexico to California. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Agency said the tunnel, which connects Tijuana to a warehouse in the Otay Mesa area of San Diego, was discovered Thursday. Marijuana was seized and arrests were made. Authorities have not released any other details.

Thursday’s discovery is similar to a tunnel found earlier this month. The first tunnel connected an Otay Mesa warehouse to a warehouse in Tijuana and was equipped with a railway system, lighting and ventilation. About 30 tons of marijuana was seized in that case.
