Blacksmithz to Start Recording Second Album in 2009

Blacksmithz, an Atlanta based alternative rock band, will begin recording their second album, Jesus Aint Gonna Give Me No Record Deal, at the start of 2009.  Fans and fans can hear their music on the band’s YourFindit profile at www.yourfindit.com/blacksmithz.  A recording of the Blacksmithz interview with YourFindit’s Rebecca Firth is also available on their profile.

The Blacksmithz describe themselves as grunge rock with a taste of funk and groove.  Their influences include Rage Against the Machine, Incubus, The Beatles and Pantera.  The band has high energy coming from the hard hitting vocals of Steve Money,the rhythmic drum beat of KP and the attention grabbing stage presence of bassist, Worm.

Originally formed in 2006, the band has enjoyed the company of the same line up after the introduction of KP in 2007.  Together the group has released one self titled album and is preparing to record their second album in 2009.  Until then, the band will continue to play as many shows as possible, which includes a ten day run on the road in November.
